The Institute of Medicine (IOM) recommends capturing social and behavioral determinants in Electronic Medical Records. CDC defines Determinants of health as factors that contribute to a person's current state of health.

  • Human Genome] - complete set of genetic information encoded as DNA sequences within the 23 chromosome pairs. It includes the genomes of tumors, the abnormal mass of tissue from abnormal growth or division of cells.
