Organizations Focused on developing Health Outcomes Measures

  • A new consortium aims to tackle the complex issue of value-based payment for drugs, medical devices and cutting-edge gene therapy. A major part of that initiative will be defining the role of patient provided data in new value-based arrangements.
  • International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) is a non-profit organization who believe outcomes are the ultimate measure of success in health care. When seeking treatment, patients want to know what their life will be like after treatment: will I return to work, will I be able to take care of myself, and will my symptoms improve?
