Non-Medical Interventions are non-medical treatments, activities or actions to manage or improve a patient's health. With only 20% or less of health outcomes attributed to the healthcare system, effectively "managing health" requires Non-Medical Interventions that are not reimbursed by the healthcare system and may be provided by non-clinical professionals, the patient and the patient's care giver. These interventions do not typically include Healthcare Interventions which are treatments and services typically reimbursed by healthcare insurance like Medicare.

  • Patient/Caregiver Interventions - activities or actions by patients and caregivers that will likely improve health, health outcomes and reduce overall cost.
